Guide — Installing a Sectigo SSL Certificate via internet.am

Accessing SSL Certificate Settings
- Log in to your account on internet.am.
- Select "Services" at the top.
- Find the domain for which you ordered the SSL certificate.
- Click the gear button on the right.
- Click "Configure."
- The certificate settings page will open.
Automatic SSL Installation — Quick Installation (if available)
Very Important: The "Automatic SSL Installation" button is only available to users who have hosting on the internet.am (cPanel) platform.
If the button is available:
- Click "Automatic SSL Installation."
- The system will automatically generate a CSR, retrieve the certificate, and install it on your website.
- No further action is required.
- Wait about 10 minutes, then check your site via HTTPS.
If "AutoInstall SSL" is missing, proceed to the next step.
Generate a New CSR
- Click the "Generate new CSR" button.
- The form will be automatically filled with your personal information.
- Check all fields: first name, last name, organization, address, city, state, zip code, country, phone number.
- Click "Generate CSR."
Result: CSR and Private Key are generated.
Check Additional Certificate Fields
Very Important: After generating the CSR, additional certificate fields will appear.
Verify that the following information is correct:
- Domain name (e.g., yourdomain.am)
- Organization name (if none, use NA)
- Email address
- Address, city, state, zip code, country
After verification, click "Continue" to proceed to the verification method selection page.
Choose a Verification Method
Three options are available:
- HTTPS File Verification
- Email Verification
- DNS Record Verification
For Email Verification, select one of the suggested addresses:
- admin@yourdomain.am
- administrator@yourdomain.am
- postmaster@yourdomain.am
- hostmaster@yourdomain.am
- webmaster@yourdomain.am
Verification Steps
Email Verification
- You'll receive an email with a link and a hash code.
- Follow the link, enter the hash, and confirm.
HTTPS Verification
- You'll receive a special TXT file.
- Upload it to the specified path on your website.
- Click "Verify Again" if it's not found.
DNS Verification
- You'll receive a TXT record.
- Add it to your domain's DNS management system.
- Wait for propagation, then click "Verify Again."
Receive and Download the Certificate
After successful verification:
- Return to the SSL service page.
- Click "Details."
- You'll see the following files:
- Certificate (CERT) — your SSL certificate.
- CA Bundle (CA) — intermediate certificate chain.
- Private Key (KEY) — your private key.
- You can download or copy all three files.
What Are These Files?
SSL Certificate (CERT) — The root certificate issued by the Certificate Authority. Usually in .crt or .cer format.
CA Bundle (CA) — A chain of intermediate certificates linking your CERT to the root CA. Usually in .crt or .pem format. Required for browser trust.
Private Key (KEY) — The private key generated during CSR creation. Stored in .key or .pem format. Keep it safe — never share it with third parties.
